ABOUT ELEFUNK
The name might bring George Clinton to mind , but Elefunk actually leans closer to the more bluesy, elemental side of funk.
Elefunk originally began as a studio project by guitarist Mark Gorby. Completing the band's unique style are Jerry Courtney on bass and Eric Campbell on drums.
Elefunk blends organic groove based music with improvised free form jams. The trio, based out of Wheeling,WV, has appealed to a wide range of crowds throughout Ohio, WV, and PA.
The band is currently performing, writing, and rehearsing as well as recording a cd due out this summer. Until then, check them out at a festival or club near you...
